This is a 1 owner car. One of 39 built 383 Automatic GTS Convertibles. The owner special ordered it. He had several Mopar big block convertibles since 1962. He traded in his 1966 Coronet 383 4 bl for this one. It was never driven in any winter. He knew what it was. All matching numbers drivetrain and body. It was all freshened up in 2006. No rust ever or had been hit. The original top and interior. Wheels etc. ordered with the dog dish caps not the full mag style. He ordered it stripe delete also because he could not make up his mind what color stripe he wanted. When it came in he had Red GTS stripe added. The engine has some cam and carb and electronic Ign. upgrades. He ordered a 3.91 Sure Grip. Head rests. AM FM radio. 45 RPM Record player under the pass side dash. Steering column tach. Tinted glass. Manual brakes and manual steering. 2 speed wipers. Bucket seats and console. Wood sport steering wheel. E/70/14 Red Line tires. This was ordered new from Hunter Dodge in Birmingham, Michigan. Have all the paperwork from the dealer, The loan contract, bill of sale. mint build sheet. Warranty manual. Original Stock yellow tag. An unused new set of keys with the dealer plastic key chain. Does not get any better than this. The car has been stored in temp controlled building. It is n lower Michigan. $57,500

Beautiful car. But does the original owner still own it? If not, it's a 2 owner car.

45 rpm record player? Really? I did not know that was an option in the 60s, definitely was in the 50s though.

In all my years playing with a bodies I have never heard of such a thing.
I thought they only came in C bodies

Very nice car. One question about it though. You say no rust or damage ever and freshened up. That fender tag appears to have seen rust. It is very pitted? Also possibly some very minor visible damage surrounding it.

what is the build code for the steering column tach on the build sheet?

Yes it was at the $67,500 but now adjusted to where it should be. No it was not rusty. The fender tag was sand blasted no pinholes in it. . It will be a two owner car. The original owner had the 45 RPM player added as well as the tachometer. Not Chrysler oem parts.
