if i had only know where these cars would have got to , the first gas crunch , prices doubled over night . 2500 bucks would have bought hemi rr's rt's cuda's all day long in town . just think of the collection . i was just in my twenty's with my father paying me , and a short time as a beginning draftsman , was driving my 70 boss 302 with a pump't motor , got 4 mpg as a town'r , sold it for 3500 bucks . there was no way he would have kept them all . i did hang on to a few , last night i was thinking on and the best buys are my old p/us as follows first a 37 d100 for 300 bucks , second was a 37 d100 for 200 bucks , third 36 for 100 bucks , and the fourth 38 d100 for 400 bucks . bought most my stuff way back when , to save for mt retired live , sold some , cut some . space was an issue . so the fleet shortened . but still kept my old stuff .
