I may not have seen it all......
Stupid knows no bounds. When I bought my GTS, the previous owner had paid a shop to replace the 340 engine that had windowed the block with a new MP 360 Magnum crate engine.
Apparently the shop knew little about Mopars and ignored the fact that the car already had a ballast resistor and installed the new Mopar electronic distributor, controller box AND ballast resistor on top of what was already there...giving the car 2 ballast resistors in line to the coil.
No wonder the engine had no guts when I got it. The coil was running on half power to the distributor.
One look and I was like WTF??
