Opinions on seatbelt mod
When I bought my Duster the interior had been completely consumed by various creatures, so it had no seatbelts. I bought some universal ones from Summit and they work great, except for one thing. Because the top mounting point of the seat belts in the Duster, and the design of the seatbelts I have, the belt goes across my chin/neck area when I’m wearing it.
Do y’all think it would be dangerous to take a piece of steel (I have some 3/16) and drill 2 holes in it to lower the upper mounting point of the belt? (See picture).
I know it’d be better off buying different ones but I don’t like buying things twice.
Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.
