Hey just want to hello all. little about me - been a mopar owner, and restorer since the 70's. Oh the cars i wish i still had ( bet you never heard that before :) ) any way, I am currently restoring a 1965 Barracuda. I have had several A body's but never had such a pain in A$$ one as this 65 B cuda. parts hard to find and when you do find them there ether junk or a fortune. Its tight in all aspects of fitting anything but stock running gear, and exhaust in. It has fought me every inch the way. Hence the name i gave it. i will start a restoration page later and explain some of the difficulties of installing a Gerst Suspension, Edelbrock heads, TTI headers, and a 727 Torqueflight

Welcome! I myself did a tubular k, and have probably done everything on my dart 3 or 4 times. Great place to research and learn! Saves alot of heartache with good people here. Looking forward to hearing more and seeing pics.

Running a blueprint 408 short block can't wait to get it out on the highway to see how it does

Glad to hear that! The forum fellas tell me I'm designing a new shortblock tomorrow to replace the LA. Lol. Ya'll keep me busy!!

Welcome to the site, and good luck with your project.
Sometimes I find it's better to walk away from your project for a few days instead of stomping around and being pissed off at it and trying to sort it out all at once.
It gives you time to regroup..........

Welcome Grumpy Old Fish! (that's funny, btw) Early A's are tight but, lets face it, you'd be bored with a challenge...

Welcome aboard this great site, a place I call home. These early A bodies are tight, but they sure feel great with a strong small block in them, I am getting close to having mine back on the road

Welcome to FABO from the dirty South!!!

Yup, these a-bodies have soooooooo much room it's funny...NOT

But as memike said, the size is what makes them really fun to drive!!

Great looking car !!! Love the wheels, and that's my favorite 60s color too
how do you like those valve covers?

Mr Gasket V.C. from summit I like them for the looks ( I am a big block guy, so i bought them because they make the motor look bigger :) ) you do need use a extra thick gasket to fit the air gap intake

Hey Craig show some pictures of the Charger as well We don't want to miss out on that sweet ride. Glad you got the running gear under control so now the body work should be a lot easier and less headache.
Oh welcome to FABO from North Dakota you need to get your butt up here for a visit someday soon.

Welcome hope you have as much fun as I’m having with my pb motor.

Hey Fred, I will do better than that, i will post another Six Pack that your familiar with. give me a couple days to find the photos. Whoo Who tomorrow i finely get a a crack at another set of front parking lenses for the grumpy fish. After the first set I ordered from Classic industries, that was so poorly made they wouldn't fit. I ordered a second set from Laysons restorations, it only took one 1 year 3 month to get them in. Making a trip to pick them up tomorrow with Bezels in hand to make sure they fit. right after I test the new tranny.

Sounds good I remember riding in the Charger back in the mid 70's but can't remember riding in the R/T. Same here on finding good parts but not as hard as yours hope the park lights fit this time.
