Indy 360-1 vs TFS VS W2

What does any of that have to do with your accusation that Mopar guys won't spend money?

"This is why the W2 never went anywhere. The GM guys will spend money on **** and the Chrysler guys won't."

It's called reality. If you are buying used junk or scrounging junk yards then yes, the GM stuff is cheaper.

If you have nothing the cost for either is the same. Within a few hundred dollars. Maybe.

The difference is back when the Chevy guys had no heads with an offset intake rocker and Chrysler did, the Chrysler guys cried their eyes out about needing expensive rockers.

The question then becomes, what did Chevy have that was comparable? Nothing. So how do you say it's more expensive when you are comparing a junk assed stud mounted rocker to a shaft mounted rocker? You can't.

And that's my point. When the Chrysler guys had the opportunity to buy things that the Chevy guys could only dream of, they cried about the cost.

And that's why you still see guys building 400 plus inch small blocks with heads that are grossly undersized. It's not a instant issue. Years ago if these parts sold you'd still have them today.

My local Direct Connection dealer was running Super Gas. He had access to anything you could possibly want. And yet, he used a 383 B engine because he had a dozen of them, he could run a 9.50 flat out with it and he was throttle stop racing.

When I pointed out to him he could build a W2/W5 stoker engine and run even quicker. He said why. Chrylser guys won't buy that ****. Why spend MY money on something 99.9% of my customers won't.

And there you have it. He knew it. I knew it. And now you know it.
