Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
Rained from 5a-6a here. Nothing on the radar now. 60 and gray for the rest of the day probly. This coming week it's actually supposed to be rather pleasant :)

Compared to last year, its been nice so far. Mid 50's today, with low 40's a couple days followed by upper 40's and low 50's for the week.
I'll take it for as long as we can.
Should break 50 tomorrow and near 60 Tues, but likely rain both days. Then temps drop when the rain moves out.

You've seen these in the market

I would take one bag and hit 5 or 6 of the different varieties in the same bag. Sometimes good, other times ehhh. But always different  very seldom repeatable.

Don't know anywhere around here with a setup like that. I suppose they gotta move a lot to stay fresh with it open to the air like that. But then I get a lot of my coffee from discount store. Don't know how long it stays fresh once bagged. Giant has similar dispensers with nuts and candy. I got walnuts there and thought they were a little stale.
Speaking of fresh coffee... I'm expecting a delivery from our resident coffee man tomorrow. I think he went and picked the beans on his way home last week.

We have a chili cook off contest at the range today. Sadly it kind of just turns into who can make the hottest chili. I love spice but a nice bowl of chili with a chunk of cheese is hard to beat on a cold day. They make it so hot you can’t taste the chili. I make mine with deer or elk and I like to be able to taste it. Yummy!

Classy bulkbins!
So you're a high stakes gambler.:poke:
I'm the other way.
If I don't see what I'm looking for, I get a small quantity. 1/4 lb or so.
If I like it, then I'll get it again.
:)

That's quite a haul then!
Rain doesn't usually stop autocross events.
As long as there is no lightning.

We thought the same when I was racing Sprint Karts  but none of us in the kart club owned a set of rain tires  "Screw this, Let's go to breakfast" was the usual response if it rained

Did you get your light roast?

It's really not that cold, but metal tools.... and I hate wrenching with gloves on. I need to get a new pair of something. Mechanix or whatever, thin but a little warmth. PITA getting to the battery on Journey - in the wheel well. Don't know if I needed to before swapping, but pulled the cables and connected together to do the 'reset'. Likely could have done it from the jumper points, but the cables disappear into the harness before that, so was not chancing shorting the battery.

I know there is a wide disparity of opinion on here with regard to Law Enforcement Professionals but our family is intertwined with them as several are LEOs including our boy. Long story short he works for a PD in NW Ark. last night one of his Brothers was killed execution style right outside the Dept door. The officer was ambushed. When word was coming in at first we did not know if our boy was down or a survivor. Turns out he is fine but will probably pray extra today at his church. This story will likely never make a National news but rest assured it is heart wrenching for many. These guys roll the dice every single day doing the absolute best job they can. My apologies for ranting but I am just now getting myself sorted back out after a small moment of oh no, they just found out they are having a second child and all the other thoughts that race thru your head when you do not know status of your own.

Yes.
And I've finally figured out how to grind the beans properly for both the pour over cone and the drip pot.
The Huehue is definately richer than the Antigua. I think it has more flavor too. The Antiqua has sharpness but I liked what you made better. It had more aroma and flavor. Could be the way I make it, or maybe the amount of roasting?

Can you make room in the garage?
Place the tools on top of, or or in front of a heater?
Agree that's the worst part.
Insulated overalls are great for winter but they make it harder to maneuver...

Well, I currently do not have a heater in there, so...

The garage is almost clear. Planning to get the Duster in today so I can open it up for a week or so and get the floors completely dry. Then it goes back out with new cover for the Winter.
