I bought a 73 Cuda that had one on it. It was the first thing I took off of that car. WTF? The Cuda has one of the coolest hoods ever! I still have it too. Was thinking of using it as a target at the range :elmer:

Looks good on your Nova.......:poke:

I had an L-88 cowl one piece fiberglass hood on my vega , hardly anybody knew what is was, ''everybody liked it !"
Worked good too -------------
If , I were to change hoods I might try one on my 68 fastback !

Well now, this calls for pics!, just for you guys that don't like them.

Now go have a beer.

Well, if you have something that won't fit under the stock hood and you don't want or need a front opening hood scoop, what else are you going to do?

Cowl hoods look stupid on Chevys too!
Partial disagreement. I DO like the factory cowl hoods on Chevelles and Camaros. I am not a big fan of cowl hoods on Chevies that did not have them available as a factory option; specially the cowls that stick up way higher than the stock ones. HOWEVER, I do agree that if you shove a big block in a small car and can't shut the hood, what are you going to do.

Personally if I had the money and desire to do laptop tuning I’d prefer a low pro intake, and port fuel injection under a very stock flat hood.
