Running is easy. Making it look worth a damn is the hard part!
Who says it has to be pretty.

The Joe dirtae' look is kinda hot

Well engine started ran it up to 2000 rpm till fuel bowl ran out of fuel. Sound of oil running down the back of the engine. Tranny has to come back out along with clutch and flywheel. Time to recheck the rear main and the oil gallery plugs. For the amount of oil coming out my money is on a bad plug.
Swapped to the 65 and changed the fuel pump, now its putting out more than 5 psi so the Eddy carb is flooding.

Every pump should come with a regulator. LOL

I'm hoping I found the problem with my heater.

It's a torpedo heater type

I found a cracked hose from the air pump to the nozzle. I hope it's that easy to fix.

Damn heaters. Noisy and smelly. Carry on!
Sure beats wrenching in the cold.

One time I changed a slant six fuel pump, on the side of I-25 just south of Denver.... it was so cold I didnt even feel i had a cut on my knuckle. I didn't realize till I saw blood.

Great times.

Some of my best car memories were in the snow and ice LOL

One of my most vivid cold weather repair memories was swapping out the carb on my old ‘70 Duster outside with no gloves in 10* weather, 30 mph wind and a foot of snow on the ground. I swear I didn’t get the feeling back in my fingers for hours.

Got it done though! It was my only car and since I was running my auto upholstery business at the time, no car meant no work and no pay.

Screw that! I did a block heater in -30. Car was dead and there was no getting it started without it. Actually my brother’s 71 mustank.
I know now how to get a frozen car running.
