Also, @j par, what do you get out of the straight linkage? Plusses and minuses I saw that you've run both and prefer the straight.

I think the advantage of having a straight linkage is much more cost-efficient and ease of installationis as opposed to carburetors sideways and having all kinds of connections going in different directions and more money and takes a little skill to get hooked up correctly..
