Another tire size question
Did someone call for a tow?
Anyway.
215/70R15 will fit even with a little wider rear than stock.
I've even got an M body rear under that body with that tire but I had stiffen the springs up to prevent the tires from rubbing when it's heavy and hitting bumps.
20 years ago I bought a 86 cop Diplomat and the county had 215/70R15 on it.
As you say they are easy to get.
When I was on the west coast I bought some "take off" Hankook in that size.
Seemed like a "hard" tire.
The tire store I have used for years keeps that size in Goodyear Integrity on the shelf and I've had good luck with them.
A reasonable tire price.
