BluePrint Engines 392 Hemi Interest? Thoughts? Comments?

-
Yes! It's approved, done on paper, quoted, and we have ordered in parts. Just have to fit into the schedule, and get to work on it. Realistically very similar hp and cost to our 427 gm LS3. It will be marketed as a 392. Fully forged. Turn key with or without controller/harness. Timeline still kind of Gray. Hoping early summer.

I'm a little late to the party here, but I think this is a great idea. I'm happy to see a big company giving the G3 platform some love. I don't think I can go a half day without seeing someone putting an LS into something. It's time to see some crazy G3 swaps!
Now for feedback on the idea- I personally wouldn't want the stock computer, but that's me. Holley released their Terminator X ECUs this year are are making a universal kit that would presumably be for anything that isn't an LS or Ford. I'm sure their coil drivers are still required for use with the G3. Now here's a thought...work with Holley to get a G3 drop on Terminator X....
One last comment, Modern Muscle just released a 6.4 crate engine for just under $10K. I don't think it includes a harness or ECU. They also don't advertise the HP on their website.

Its greenlighted and happening. Just need development time. Probably 6+ Months out on it hitting the website. wish it was faster, but can't rush something we're going to have tons of R&D into, and ensuring that our parts list, 30 moth warranty, Etc, its all on par.

I'll sell it with, or without a controller. for One-off builds, the holley ECU's are amazing, but the added cost is quite a bit over a Contoller/ecu kit from mopar or GM.

everything we do comes dyno tested, and meets minumum advertised HP. We're a from scratch performance engine builder. We're not buying these from Chrysler and tossing a cam in. They will be a BluePrint Engine with fully forged internals, our specs, etc. No OEM hyper pistons in this build.

doing what i can to push them through. thanks everyone for the interest, and keeping me busy!

Swweeeetttt! I’m a few years away from this step but I’m glad this option will be out there.

Will y’all be building any of these using the stronger BGE blocks for people who wanna add blowers?

Also, if you’re looking for a test mule, I’d be willing to put as big a decal on my car as you’d like and go through all the trials of driving a high horsepower Duster in exchange for a “donated” engine/trans setup :poke:

That right there is some serious thinking. Dang it, wish I had thought of that first. But wait mine is a Demon, we could do a side by side analysis! You could send motors to each of us, we plaster your name all over the side of our cars! Hah! On serious note thanks for being a great vendor guy!

2009 and up VVT blocks.

The 6.4 in my truck is impressive for a gas engine.
In a car it would be quick.

More Parts getting ordered today. Need opinion on Orange, vs Black Block. I can do either on special order.... but for marketing photos, need opinions. I think black. thoughts?

I'm gonna get enough comments that it isn't a "hemi" at all. so whatever.lol
Lol that’s true. I just pulled up pics of the G3 engines and I don’t think the block color will make a whole lot of difference. Turns out, even if they’re orange, by the time everything is on the engine, you can’t hardly see any orange anyway.

You can have whatever color you want...as long as its black :)

or you can wait 30 days and i'll build you an orange one.lol

Will you be doing other special order colors as well? Like, if I wanted to order one in Panther Pink?

Johnny, I see you are in OH.
Where are the engines actually built at?

black, orange, and blue are easy.
Beyond that, custom colors are probably a no-go. Something like pink...god i can't imagine if someone canned that order on me...lol

Johnny, what’s the timeline update on your ”black” Hemi?
Pushing for may. Will probably take deposits before then.
Some very exciting and neat things happened today. I had an update meeting with engineering. And we ordered in all the parts to build one. We also gathered photos of how we want it to look and talked horsepower numbers.
As that was happening, the marketing Chief was also texting me saying that she was in a meeting with journalist going nuts at the idea of us doing a gen 3 Hemi. They wanted all the details and we're very excited about it. I'm glad to be working on this project for you guys and I wish I could bring it to Market a little sooner but these things take time,

diligently working.
Johnny Mac

Johnny what are these for? They look like they are being used on the 392’s. I saw them posted another forum.

Those are to take water out of the heads to a centrally located thermostat. This is the way the old engines were done.
On the LA engines for example, there integrated on the intake manifold.

Yeah, thats Gen1, not gen III.

Just an update. This is done on paper, but as many of you can imagine with the Covid 19 uncertainty, this will be delayed for sure. not dead...but delayed :( no time frame at the moment... stay tuned.

Ok...subscribed

I'm on the fence about my 68 Notch-Back. ..
I've been planning a 318/390 stroker for a long time....but I love the idea of a modern drive train!
Man....VERY tough decision! !!!
I've bought a Blueprint engine before and I know the quality and service is awesome. ...
Wish there was a way to make the gen 3 look more old school....
I'm less than a year from pulling the trigger on one or the other. .....
