Mancini Racing Power Ignition Package

The old points distributors would go to 5 or 6,000 rpm and last for ~10,000 miles. Check the dwell every so often. A high finish on the cam and distributor cam lube is important. And don't forget to put a drop or two of oil on the felt pad. Make sure the mechanical advance weights are free and oiled.

The ECU distributor system is better. The original Chrysler ECU's are black with white lettering. I used to get them at the bone yard for cheap. Tested them by plugging them into the wiring harness of a vehicle, running a jumper wire from the case to battery ground, and starting the car. If it was good, I'd put it in the glovebox with an extra ballast resistor, a 7/16'' wrench and a phillips. ------ insurance -----
