Who has their Christmas tree up?

We are getting ours this coming weekend, next year might go out and cut one down which will be fun and different. Always get a real tree, love the smell

My wife and I discussed it and we probably won't put a tree up this year.
For as long as I can remember I've always had a real tree every year. But there is a shortage of trees in the west and the prices are crazy. I overheard two people here at work that each paid in the $120 neighborhood for a 6'-7' Noble Fir.
There's just so much more we can do for the Holidays with the money than throw $120 out on the curb right after January 1.

Always had a real tree. I find out where road maintainence is brushing and go harvest a tree from there. it would get shredded anyway.
but now we go artificial,as much as i like the real tree, its easier.

a past neighbour leaves her tree up year round, covers it with a sheet during the off season. Has done it as long as i can remember.

Went to cut one today with the kids, paid $15.00 out the door
(I'm kidding, there was no door)

It was always a Christmas tradition for us, that the boy and I would head out to the tree farm and cut ours down, while the wife cleaned out the spot and got the stand and trimmings ready. The boy this year works on the weekends, and busy all week with hockey, so we bought a pre-cut real tree at the grocery store Sunday.
Wife spent the day decorating it.. she has tons of ornaments from years past.. many have special meanings.
Chase, the resident 2 yr. old cat (yeah, he's 22 pounds.. aka 'Fat Thing', aka 'Fatberg') actually took a few minutes out of his busy day knocking things off it.
Have a wonderful Christmas, all of you!

Just bought ours today and decorated it tonight. Best tree we have had yet and the fullest. Have the polar express train behind the tree.

My wife started decorating the tree today. Only partially done, but she asked me to photoshop the blinds red so she could see what it might look like. She was thrilled when she saw it...somehow, I think this is going to end up costing me lot of $$ in new blinds. LOL!

Our tree is always up before Thanks Giving because we always have Thanks Giving dinner for both sides of the family. My 8 year old grand daughter made the chain links out of construction paper the other day so her and I had to put it up. Looks pretty good to me

No tree for me. Being single, and it’s much easier to do our Christmas at my sons house, nobody will be here. My sister bought me a mug several years ago, and now it’s tradition to get it out for the season. This is the second replacement.

I used to work with a guy who had that "bah humbug" spirit
So one Christmas I bought him a Charlie brown tree and put it on his desk
It was a perfect fit

I really don’t have that lack of spirit. Sis accused me of that for not putting up a tree. She bought me the mugs, as a joke, and I get one out every year. When I’m by myself, I just don’t see the point. Anytime I have had a significant other, I have decorated. Nobody is going to be here, but me. We always celebrate somewhere else.

My tree has been up since the weekend after Thanksgiving, I put the lights on and my eight year old grandson helps decorate it. He still clusters ornaments and candy canes as he sees fit, leaving bare spots here and there but I don't change a thing. It's his tree too and can decorate as he sees fit. Personally I think it's the most beautiful Christmas tree ever! Merry Christmas to all.......
