Anyone familiar with this smaller than 8 3/4
Rear.
Have one seems to be a 8" ring gear
Roughly 1/2" smaller housing than 8 3/4?
Tapered bearings with nuts on axles.
Been on internet and cant find a name or description of this? Said was in trucks and some bigger model cars?4.11 gear ratio?

8-1/4 banjo axle with 11 studs around perimeter instead of 10. You can see the inherent weakness by the carrier flange thickness.
 
Go to the P15-D24 website, Pilothouse forum. There are guys there that can tell you all you want to know about it.
