Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
I count each foggy morning or evening, every late fall and winter, it seems to be very accurate on how many heavy snow days we will have here, some years we don't get snow
Gotcha, we had a ton of those this year too but I didn't count them, will have to try that next year

I think I need a hair cut today

Good morning Mike and Chris and oh my brain isn't awake yet. Once this coffee kicks in, get out of here and go play musical cars. Then get on the road. The Fury's lower radiator hose went bad is all. But I bought a new water pump after seeing a leak from it after driving to Atlanta a while back, so my buddy Mr. Davis will do that job for me. Meanwhile A few days in Sarasota where it's warm and sunny and I can visit people, will be nice.

I am sure you have something wired up wrong. Kind of disappointed no fire extinguisher use in that video!

I wounder if he has a good ground to the engine and firewall, many times I see this

yet! it did make a nice puff of smoke from the starter at first. I'll double check my wiring set up this afternoon. I'm bypassing the main chassis harness currently. Which might be the problem. I'm gonna grab a new coil and throw on it as well as swap in the dizzy you rebuilt for me.

holy crap, I didn't even think to check that! I don't remember if I hooked it back up when I pulled the intake the 2nd time. Good idea!

Even the electronic needs a good ground, I will admit to doing this myself after an engine swap and wondering why it will not start, put a ground strap on and it fired right up in my 72 Challenger back in the early 80es

I always liked the Polara's and even the name Polara is cool. I missed the chance to buy a pale yellow '68 down around Albany GA ten or so years ago... The b-body Polara's are a great design, so easy to drive.

Welp I better get moving, see you for coffee tomorrow probably.

That starter sounds like it is wanting a better ground to me, or the battery is low, or could the starter be pulling all the bolts because its wore out ? Just thinking out loud
