Poll - How far away from home do you drive your classic?

The leaving it at the airport thing...I just couldn't do that with mine, I'd be a nervous wreck. From stolen, to door dings, to parts stolen, etc...no way. Its not that mine is a beautiful show car, I've just got to much into it as far as time and effort, and money. Its insured and all that..probably a little on the low side but still get nervous enough even when its in cars shows.

I've done it a few times in long term lots. Usually very busy 24/7 gated, covered, security and lots of fancier cars than mine! This one in Houston has columns between every other spot so no dings if you do it right! But I don't mind working on it, the paint is nearly 10 now and there are more rock chips than anything else. The worst actually was an idiot looking at the motor with this giant belt buckle! anyway I think folks just dig seeing it amongst the mundane and I sure like accommodating them!!!
