Am wanting to buy a set of Galen's white books and my phone calls are unanswered. The website has no way of ordering and sending money. What am I doing wrong?

When I try to add to cart I get "page not found". Try shooting them an email.

I heard a while ago the whole thing became a sham. IIRC, you should not try to send money there anymore.

Try to find them from someone other than GTS. I sent a money order, hoping it would arrive in time to help me with a buying decision. Months later, having received no response to emails, I sent a letter with a copy of the money order receipt asking for a refund. A few days later, the book arrived, useless to me for it's original intent. From what I've heard, unreasonably long delays in shipping is a common complaint. Interesting to browse through, but not worth the wait and price for only that purpose.
eBay, as bcschief said, and PayPal give you buyer's protection. If you can take a look at someone else's, do that before buying. Much of the content that is in mine has been available on the web for years.

^ As stated above. His reputation for quick, good communication isn't great. Over half that info is in the FSM, the rest is in sales literature. Much is online, free.

If you are at a junkyard or swap meet then his books are invaluable. Yeah, break out your phone everytime you want to check out a part number quckly, that works real well...

He seems to favor high dollar rare cars. A bodies? Not so much.

In his defense, I read that his wife died several years ago and she was the one who handled most of the correspondence and orders.

I have a very low opinion of Galen and GTS.
He'll slow roll you to the point that unless you hint of legal action, he won't act.
Most of the info in his books can be readily accessed by google.
Last I heard, he was working for Hagerty Insurance. Not sure if that's the case, but what I heard.
I've had the misfortune of speaking and dealing with him.
Not going to go into details, but I have no use for him.

Post it up and make it public domain. Its all out there anyway, he just collected it and republished it. Kinda like people selling FSM's on CD-ROM. There free with the links here and you got a burner right?
