UPDATE! I've had the car for a year or so now. Roof has been replaced, has freshly rebuilt 8 1/4 rear with 3.55's, most all the parts have been gathered for re-assembly.
Man that roof looks gnarly. But the rust really looks like it was mostly contained to the roof skin. Man those vinyl tops are awful for a car sitting outside!
