Do you mean this last truck that I got? With the little hole in the floorboard? LOL the cracked steering wheel, the rearview mirror that you can't see out of, the driver's door that wouldn't open from the outside with the window that wouldn't go up and down? With the U joints that are 100% shot along with the carrier bearing? the motor that had a quart and a half of oil in it because all of the rest of it was on the outside from all the leaks? The carburetor that was completely toast and would barely run?... no not as much as he paid for his and I'm thankful I didn't have to bring it home on a trailer.. and quite honestly shocked it made it home with the U-joints that it had and the way it was running... I bought mine at a total Fixer Upper price... You can take your guess..
I can tell you once it's been through it total mechanical restoration it's going to be north of 4K or I'll drive it till it is worth 4K.. or more.. the last thing I'm going to do is sink hundreds and hundreds, over thousands of dollars in it and put that much of hard work into it to give it away to somebody who's going to drive it for 5 years and double their money...
you are doing a wonderful job with the truck. Actually, it's risky to put so much work into a truck you are going to flip, it makes the margin of profit slimmer and harder to get. But keep up the good work :)
