I didn't ask about your work, nor did I ask if you were comfortable. I asked when are we racing?

LOL.... didn't take him long to skip on over to Moparts.. :D Bwhahaha….

Listen, my Oregon Duck friend, you can relax because I didn't buy a Ninja. But I could before the sun goes down tonight, and they are cheap. Yes, even a 2,000 dollar 600 will run lower 11's. Instead I bought a Harley, so you can breathe.... lol. But just so you know, I wouldn't have to dirty a finger or spend a 1/5 of what you spent to blow by your 12.50 built 410 stroker in the next 4 hrs.

Now, back to thread topic, Van talk :)

LOL.... you got the humor.. :D I could buy a garden tractor and he'd post his Duster could beat it... (after he inquired if it had a header) :D

Love the van! I think I speak for a few guys on here that we are patiently waiting for the day when your test and tune on the duster hits the 11's. Do you think you will run the van in the 1/4 , just to see what it can do?

pittsburghracer You still have that van ? or a Van that you pull your cars to the track?

No I sold it to a buddy I worked with. I tow a 26 foot enclosed trailer now with my 2006 dodge diesel if I am local or a 25 foot class A motorhome with a fuel injected big block Chevy. This is my 3rd motorhome and best towing one. I bought it with 27000 miles on it for 5000.00 5-6 years ago. If you look at the pictures that I posted earlier of my van take a good look at that open Trailer. That crazy thing was made out of heavy I beem. Lol. I towed it several year with a 1972 cutlass Supreme with a 350 I modified. You can see the Oldsmobile in this one picture

yes, the van will get a chance at a pass... I give most things a pass, including trucks, mini vans, k cars, etc. :) Duster will march on down the ET when the weather lifts... stay tuned!

Not a van but a class c 1977 dodge motorhome with a 440 engine and transmission I rebuilt for my Dad. Talking about an animal. I ported the 906 heads and stock intake for it and put in an RV cam. This sucker moved out

I haven't heard jive turkey in a while...
In the service, sometimes living on little sleep my emotions would get away from me.

I had given up on making rank so when someone pissed me off, they were referred to as a jive turkey.-It was for my protection, Chiefs and Junior Officers would agree (often, under pressure from SWFLANT & Squadron 16) to a much faster schedule, and I would light them up occasionally in consideration of my young men.

When they had not slept much for a few days, the men would make mistakes and sometimes try to cover them up-even weapons officers and submarine captains would try to hide mistakes-consequences were deadly for careers.

conducting maintenance on WMD’s & ICBM’s, we’re Not allowed to make mistakes. It was very easy to snow ball a small mistake covered up by one guy, into a message sent to the Pentagon.

“Sorry SecNav, the Trident Sub schedule (only 14 boats for east & west coast) is shifting again please sign here-they closed a muzzle hatch on a grounding strap, opened a muzzle hatch onto powered lighting, disconnected the ground strap on 60 tons worth of spun-nitro glycerin solid rocket motors, dropped a guidance component, you name it.”

Too much responsibility, mixed with fat egos.

Jive Turkey is my go to with the new society.
People in California allegedly getting in trouble for wrong personal pronouns, the ‘okay sign’ becoming a symbol for white power-I just can’t keep up with all the ways I can get into trouble. I guess it is my safe (insult) word. I should stop caring but am programmed now. My daughter still thinks I am calling her a giant turkey.

That thing is awesome PBR!!
Reminds me of my grandparents’ muraled Dodge Van. Same grille whatever year that is. I drove that van to Tennessee from San Antonio riding on my grandfather & dad’s lap.
Holding the steering wheel shut me up. I loved it!!

there are starting to be more and more van meets and cruises... LOL. Funny how things become a fad. Our wanting a van had nothing to do with trend. But vans are trending..... some as street rod cruisers, and some for off grid living....

That is great ! I just got a 78 Fireball Class C with a 440 and am toying with the idea of a 4.25” stroker cam and OD trany.
Any input as to heads or cam for such an application ?

Ohhh wow that was so long ago but it was just an RV type Crane Cam I think that I bought from Summit. This was probably at least 20-25 years ago if not more.

That was a cutting edge RV for the time.
Maybe a Chinook brand ....[/QUOTE

Avion. My Dad was number 557 in the Avion Trailer club. He always had an Avion tag along and started camping when I was 5 years old. (Now almost 64). He redid the oak cabinets inside this one when he bought it and man was it beautiful.

Just sold the motorhome last month. It was nice at the track with the air-conditioning and turning on the radio to the track announcer... We took it on lots of trips to the coast.. two years ago we took off for about 2 months in the summer and went around the United States.. it's a lot of fun but a lot of responsibilityit's a well... It's a day-long adventure damn near to clean the thing...

What I said was you're always chasing me with all your stuff??? Well you're definitely back and back to twisting your conversation to suit your point...
Nothing you have will be my snowmobile... Let's see how fast your ninja goes in the snow LOL..
I don't have an account on MoParts where bench Racers go to hide....

Did a lot of work on the passenger side inner fender well and getting the trunk pan in... Making sure the curves of the bumper are proper along with the trunk fitting... I'm sorry I'm not like some who can post at work. I'm usually pretty busy helping my customers and enjoying my work...
