Does anyone sell "crate" motors that are not "408"s?

The power is controlled by your right foot.
Blueprint engines sells a great package pump gas 408 with a good warranty, so why would someone pay the same price for a lower horsepower and torque engine unless it's your matching numbers engine for your car and you don't want to mess with originality.
I understand saving a few bucks, but you're not dealing with a 13:1 engine that makes it's power at 7000 r.p.m. either........
The ATK engines from Jeg's are a pretty good bang for the buck, and they would be pretty mild too if that's what you're really after.

I make power @7000 with 10 .1
If that's the case... find the cheapest one if you're going to tear into it and put in all your own stuff. Bowtie crowd does it all the time with those cheap pos goodwench motors.lol
