Because they watch to much TV and see things like the Power Tour with fellas running 2K HP engines all over the country. So they say to themselves.... I can do that **** easy with 500HP.
Most people miss that a small cam can still go far. It is how you back it up. This is not the ‘70’s were your stuck with a 1:1 final drive in the transmission. For street machines, a OD trans is your friend!!!
