tried gettin them through www.engine-swaps.com?
Ya. And I’ve tried calling, emailing, and every other way to contact them with zero response and just want to move my project along. Any advice or another source is more than welcome. I’m loading a 383 with an 833 and need the schumachers for the extra clearances. Is there any other headers I can use?

R u Dead set on schumachers
Doug Thorley makes tri y designed headers although all I see is b body applications

how about tti shorties ??

Not at all. From a quick search I didn’t see any tri y designs for this application though. Am I looking in the wrong place?
I'd call em , today everything is CAD , they might have something

and I learned that they r not Doug's either

I’m open to all recommendations.

You might try contacting the outfit that modifies(d) Tri-Ys for 4 speed use. Maybe they can provide some info..….
Welcome to Accurate Exhaust Products, Ltd

Depending on how things work out for me, I may have my unmodified set available, but not till late spring.
FWIW, A while back, a post here shows how one member modified his driver side for torque shaft clearance needed unless you run a hydraulic release bearing. You'd need to search for it to know what it took.

Buy TTI's and make them work. I did. I also had a set of Schumacher's and they were nice. Saw a set recently on FB and they went quick....

run a Q1 K member with a rack and pinon setup and run any header = about same price :poke:

I’m set up with a qa1 k frame and smaller borgeson power steering unit.

What all did it take to make them work with the 4 speed?

Cant help you with the 4 speed part however the Borgeson box I can. These are the 1 3/4" TTI. I plan on making a heat shield to block heat from the tube which will also cover up the crunch. It's not for the faint at heart but I wasn't willing to give up the HP with the Tri-Y....

Well get out the Pepto-Bismol because doing a BB in an A Body with PS and 3 pedals might give you heartburn because the fact is all options have good and bad points.... It's just part of hotrodding.....

Yeah I know, even ma mopar used a automatic in a M code.... even after all the years of exotic state of the art cross ram intakes and ram charger/hemi exhaust manifolds

not a body
we all know that power steering/starter/z bar a real pain, even in small block

dont know how loaded that 383 is//its not a 400 stroker right ? ma mopar had it close with the gts/formula s 383 iron maybe a extrude honed pair?

were not chevy/ford people nothin is easy/cheap
The adds states they work for a abody mopar

Buy TTI's uncoated and modify the necessary tubes and then coat. As said, there is no easy way around it (well, there is the option of a Hydraulic clutch) but the PS requires a tube modification. Pro-parts could be an option but they have their own set of issues to deal with. But I don't have carnal knowledge of those....
