415HP from 318ci IS POSSABLE!!

My 72- 318 402 hp at crank while its rowdy it's fun on the street I only drive it on weekends 10:5:1 , 236@50-110- .500 lift , rpm air gap , headers , 360 j heads milled and lightly worked , 3000 stall , 3.55 sure grip , previous owner had it on dyno one pull made 315hp/358ftlbs but was aborted at 3800 rpm due to dangerous lean condition
I can only go with what you wrote.
and if you flip the numbers, then
315x3800/5250=228hp, so it still don't fly.
If you want that to compute then
402x5250/315=6700... or
402x 5250/358=5900
but no matter how you slice , they ( the 315/358 numbers), don't seem to have anything to do with 3800.
I'm not arguing that you can or cannot make 402 hp with 318 cubic inches.
I'm not even arguing about your numbers.
I just want to know where the peak torque was, and how big the number was.
Because I have a 367 in a 68 Barracuda, that by it's ET of 93 in the Eighth, at 3467 pounds and 930 ft elevation, makes 433 hp, with a 230/110 FTHcam.... so by comparison, my Eddie-headed 367 seems kindof sucked out.
Maybe I shouldda left the 292/292/108 cam in there,lol..............
