i have done went off the deep end with my 67 barracuda. I have went and bought what is to be my last hurrah motor. Anyone else stuffed one of these in their barracudas? Chrysler aluminum block with alcoa aluminum heads. Will have a cross ram on it as well but is about to take aride to my fab guy to convert the front over to coil overs and put in a race car style steering shaft so it will fit. Damn this thing is massive....Proline will be doing the sleeves and setting the motor up... Can hardley wait...

Thanks for sharing more of the 7 Liter build! That looks like one of Andy's mounting plates up front, and this is definitely the right time and place for a coil over and rack and pinion conversion. If your losing your mind, I can't think of a better way to go crazy!

Are those Alcoa heads the 1965 super stock-F/X version or are they some other variety of even more exotic hardware? This is definitely some serious drool fuel your exposing us too.

I hate you !
Well not really , I`d do that in a heartbeat if I had a HEMI !
Heck , I`d even switch my 505 stuff out into an alum. block if I could afford it.
Nothing as cool on earth as GEN 2 HEMI in an A body !!
Keep us posted on progress .

I see a moved master cyl in ur future, along with the front pass side shock tower treatment -----------
Did u put the frame to k frame spacers in it , if not I`d do that before finalizing my steering column ----------jmo

Yes Garrett E those are the 65 SS F/X heads Famous Bob I am planning on the r/p route for this thing. So there should be no shimming required. 3/4" shaft steering column will thin some out on that side as well.I bought what i was told was an offset m/c off of here but it does look to be.

This is what my mock-up looks like in my factory Hemi Dart. 10 lbs stuffed into a 5 lb package, but they are awesome!

I am so into this because the Milodon 7 liter A body build is my holy grail in the land of Mopar. I’m glad to see someone doing a modern version of this build.

I agree, you have gone off the deep end. But what good is it to dream about it and not do it. Better to try and maybe fail than not try at all. Jump in with both feet.Way to go!Looking forward to progress reports.

No that's doing the damn thing!! You just set the bar ..Premium Package Man !!!

ld afford it !

the s/s cars were supposed to have those spacers between the k frame and frame rails , helped clearance on everything. I DIDN`T THINK OF IT WHEN I WAS BUILDING MY 440/505 68 FASTBACK, WITH RAISED PORT HEADS , wish I had tho , trans bolt clearance , head clearance , would make my steering column too short now .
