Subjects Not Taught in School Any Longer

I wasn't even going to chime in here but(,) sense (since) you seem to be an expert on the state of the U.S. education system...…(.)
I have a child in school now and (,)(I) am at the age where (,)"my friends" have children in school and going to college. If you think (that) the students (,)that the public school system is (are)turning out is (are)of the caliber that will carry us into the future you (,) my friend are part of the problem. It is a fact that some, (not all) but some teachers do not have the mental fortitude to manage a grocery store much less educate our children. Kids graduating that cannot balance a check book, write in cursive, any punctuation skills at all exc (etc). I go over every lesson (that/with) my daughter is given and adjust what we study at home to correct and assist. I have success with this but(,) I have also seen the results of just letting a teacher teach. If you think that a percentage of teachers are not attempting to indoctrinate an entire generation you are sadly mistaken. Have a great Christmas.
I fixed your post. I so wish that a strike thru or red text was an option.
If you can't properly compose a post about the quality of education, then you probably shouldn't have chimed in.
I'll be the first to admit that there are some teachers that cannot keep their politics out of the class room. There are an equal number who can't help but to push their religious right beliefs as well. Parents, such as yourself, who cannot compose a sentence without making a grammatical mistake, are as much of a problem. Yet, you're the first to complain when your child comes home with a F.
I don't claim to be an expert on the U.S. educational system, but I have a much better idea than you do. I've actually been in a class room in the past couple of days.
