Anyone here or knows anyone who has a quickjack car lift ? Thinking of buying them & just wandering if anyone is happy with them.

I like mine....limited ceiling in my garage otherwise I would have bought a two post

I had a set for a while. The only reason I sold them is I upgraded to a 4-post lift. I thought they were a pretty good deal. They are super sturdy and have two lift settings, about 12" and 20" or so. The website would tell you for sure. I had the 7000# version so I could lift my truck too. If I hadn't gone to the 4-post, I would still have them and I would certainly recommend them. The only downside I found was they are pretty heavy. Be careful when moving them around.

Tall jack stands & a quick high lift floor jack are less expensive & take up a lot less room when not in use.

the lifts both store under my car when collapsed....the only thing taking up floor space is the electric motor / hyd pump and that is smaller than a floor jack. I can pull my car in the garage, position my lifts and raise my car up in maybe a minute...you aren’t doing that with a jack and stands...it is obviously more than a jack and stands but is much quicker and easier

I want to get back into doing body & paint again. My back isn't what it use to be. Want to get the cars up in the air to work on them. If I get them I might even see how they are when it comes to painting. Ive done the jack & stands for many years. They can be a pain in the "back"

Personally, I don't feel they are "quick" but they do the job for me. Under the car you have either front to back or side to side clearance depending which way you position them. A little stingy on the hard rubber pad size. They are a bit heavy but have rollers to move them around. A little stingy on the hard rubber pad size. You can lean them against a wall when not in use rather than under the car.

My question was going to be if you could access the transmission for removal and replacement, but from @Daves69's picture above, The answer is yes.

I was looking for that answer too. I was all hot and bothered about getting a mid-rise scissor lift until I found out you can't really work under the car with those.

I had a 48” scissor lift, it weighed at least 700lbs... sold it to buy my Quick Jack, couldn’t use all the height in my garage....they both have compromises.... kinda like life

I just got mine. Found out they are part of the Bendpak line of lifts. I still plan on a 4 post but this will work great for brake jobs, oil changes and tire rotations.

Sure looks like it would be a *****, trying to get in and out from under car to work on it !-----for tire changing only?

Lol, Depends on whether one can get up from laying on a creeper. The older I get the tougher it gets.:D
Not "quick" IMO, but it does have positives. Setup correctly it's stable. You can roll them in from the side (90° from picture) and lift as well. Room to pull a trans if ya' want with no cross bar obstruction. Leans up against a wall when not in use and I'm not dodging a fixed post or two in my tiny two car garage with low over head. If I did a two post in my two car it would instantly become a car and a half garage. I could load this on the truck and use elsewhere if needed.

Tempting....Canuck bucks too.

They have a 7500# model out now I do believe.
BTW, when mine are stored they sit on a 2 X 4. It helps keep the bottom from rolling out and keeps flat spots from happening to the wheels.

Yes, but the special is on the 5000 model only.
You put 2×4 under the wheels when not using?
