That pressure plate is a piece of ****. At least pull it apart and pull the weights off of it. It probably doesn't need the plate load anyway.

I bought the clutch because my buddy had one and it grabbed strong. I had no idea what the weights were. You're right though, they don't move very freely. I remember moving them around with my hand before I installed it and they got hung up easily.
