I am doing a slant head for Charlie, he will get delivery of it in early 2020. Charlie and I met through the Slant Six race series.
I consider Charlie one of my many Slant Six racing friends, while on the road Charlie and I have shared rooms, meals and time slips.
Speaking of the porting, I have a thread at .org, shows plastic models of the ports, information on where to work as well as actual port flow data.
The port shape that I am using is modeled after what Mike Jeffery developed. Mike J is a slant six racer of some renown. Mike has shared with me his
porting techniques and I have been able to duplicate what he has achieved. My MPFI Slant car has had some success. Ran in the finials twice in 2018,
I took the car down in the fall of 2018 for a complete chassis and engine rebuild, a year later it is about done, will race again in 2020. For threads and posts and photos,
look over at .org, DadTruck is the name over there. Just so you know, I am an Mechanical Engineer, most of my 40+ career was around engines generally and cylinder heads, fuel systems and power cylinder components specifically. From developing foundry tooling, through to machining and assembly and test, I have done that with I6 and V8 heads, not as a hobby, I did it for a living.
I am looking forward to seeing the MOPAROFFICIAL at a Slant Six race in 2020!
