Slant 6 Aluminum Performance Head

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:,.....sigh..................
Here's the deal, REAL world knows the old argument, no replacement for displacement.
No matter which power adders One uses, it can be applied to the larger engine, no matter which chamber/valve design in the head(s) ditto.
Then there is the only 6 rod bearings to handle the load vs 8, even at the same power level. This isn't, & shouldn't be what it has turned into again, a pissing match over v8-/6 and opinions.
The real-deal for a Slanty head is going to be;
1) able to support a NA 400hp
2) allow someone to simply put it in place of the stock head with minimal changes
3) allow for some crazy, all-out mods.
These are basic must-haves for there to be any market at all for the head. The reality is Slanty drivers are tired of having Elantra's, Civics, & Corolla's leaving them in the dust w/o even puffing hard when it's over. They want a bolt-on that at least brings the classic mill closer to modern expectations of output/disp.
Great reply, spot on.
