i had a air gap on a 410'' years ago. 6700 rpm all day long. a friend has a air gap on his 340'' and he is at 6800 rpm.

my 340 had peak hp at 6200 withthe air gap the dyno shows the air gap peaking in the 5500-5600 range with the 426.I can spin the 426 to 7000 but it ain't making any more power . everone thinks it's the intake holding it back guess i'll find out when i get the victor or super victor . I will report back when the intake is changed and tested .
