I am currently receiving mopar muscle. Got an offer for mopar action. Are the articles similar in each. Anyone get both?? thoughts please. Happy new year to all fabo members.

they screwed me out of issues when it was out of print. they will never my money again

Mopar Muscle limits it's content to mostly 64-72 performance . Mopar Action varies from muscle to /6 any year with some very good info on restoration and modification . Both are useful . Mopar Action is bi-monthy

Same here. Had 5 more issues coming, got a letter saying I could sue for the remainder. Basically would cost more to sue than what I could recover.
In the end new owners said they would honor past subscriptions. I got one issue and that was it.
I figured if they were no better to their word than the past owners, then to hell with them.

Carmags sorta like car tv stuff, Hollywood and mindless entertainment. I like reading Hemmings Muscle Machine mag, great quality paper and pics, sane articles. I just got my renewal notice, $15 for a yr. They also have one I think called Classic Cars? It is about what I call period cars. I read MA and the other one for years, same chit over and over. and.... MA writers have NY City humor.

I dumped Mopar Muscle, half ads.
Mopar Action went bankrupt, I returned the paperwork they sent out to subscribers so when they started to print again they made good on my subscription. I renewed since, I would've renewed even if they'd have screwed me outta them too.

I too get hemmings, classic cars, muscle machines, and hemmings motor news. Thanks to all for your response. Think I will pass.

I don't take any of them anymore. None cater to the do it yourself with what you have crowd anymore. It's always about the most expensive builds possible and about shoving down your throat whatever their sponsors want them to. Screw that. Forums are for free and more entertaining.

I have never built a car of the 40's or 50's but have come close to biting on a project a few times. I really would like to do one before I cash it all in. Maybe. But I enjoy reading the mags about us people that build rather than buy. So I read Hot Rod and the other associated type mags. I like the ones where the guy is a real hotrodder, not the buy paying out the $$$$$$$ for the latest and best-est parts and everything. . I have bought a coupe of sorta restored cars over the decades, a couple, and I enjoyed those till they meet their new owner. I just rather build and know what I did (good or not so good) rather than what someone did and might have done!
