ended up getting a different, virgin block and starting over. Decided not to pursue the guy in court. Costs were too risky and too high. Plus his brother in law is the judge in that county. I learned that after deciding against legal action.
that block according to 2 other shops is useable as is, but most of the work wasn’t done as billed. Wasn’t decked or line honed. Nor was it tanked. And if I tank it again, it’d have to be bored most likely so I figured just start with a new block. My new rotating assembly that the first shop balanced and assembled checked out good by both shops so I’m putting it in the virgin block when done
there’s some a few pages back. I’m actually having a graphic artist paint a pair of those on the hood scoop I have. I’ve got some cool ideas for the interior and exterior final detailing whenever I get to that point that will play on that pun quite well
