66 Valiant Wagon standard transmission conversion.....

The easiest is to use the 64-66 4 speed bellhousing if you can, but I have used the newer /6 O/D bellhousing also. I can't remember how the clutch linkage was set up. You can use any A/F body 4 speed including the O/D 4 speed. You just have to be aware of front bearing retainer and the pilot hole in the Bellhousing. The next thing to match is the rear output splines or ball and trunion as post #4. The last is to match the shifter and shift linkage to the trans.
