Carburetor Question - Is this a good call?

Don't forget about the accelerator pump "cam"....those are those colorful plastic do-hickies in one of my pics. They determine how fast and at what rate fuel is dumped when you stomp on the gas. If the engine stumbles when you accelerate it could be the "cam". TOO MUCH INFO HUH???

HA no its great thanks everyone :) That does sound about correct.. experience level here would be fantastic...!

Power valve is very common on Holleys. One backfire and it's toast. The old floats can leak and fill with fuel which floods them. Float adjustment is easy on the Holleys. It can be done externally.

I know i could google this BUT are there different power valves like how there are different jets? And would anyone know the proper jets/power valve for my application (stock commando 273)?
