One year ago today we lost a great dude named Tim aka Abodybomber...I miss our conversations, pictures and music we would share. We laughed and cried together, discussed life and it’s ups and downs, we sure could make each other laugh! I really miss my friend :(

I will always cherish this sign he gifted me...and I will have a drink later in his memory. Here is the last pic he sent me, Tim I hope you don’t mind me sharing you with the site....This place is not the same without you Tim!

I never got to meet him or speak on the phone with him, but it was always weird how sometimes he called me "Mr. Merritt" when we conversed here. It was almost as if maybe we had met in the past somewhere. I always felt some kind of connection to him. He was a good soul for sure. I miss him all the time.

I hear ya Keith. He was one of the good ones. I can't believe sometimes how long I've been on here. A lot of you all are like second family I talk to you every day. He's missed for sure.

I do miss Tim alot, he was always a very kind and patient man. I never got to talk alot with him but he always had kind words for me. Even when I was young and dumb lol.

I still feel unfortunate that we never met in person even though being neighbors. I was just getting into my 340 Dart build when we started messaging each other about whatever, parts swapping I believe.
The one day he Finally came by my shop after many attempts (different hours)my wife was there and not me. Dratts!!
RIP BUDDY

Miss him to, he had a 70 dart two tone green and black I think, he sent the funniest private messages and made me feel good.

I didn’t know Abodybomber, but I sure like how you guys honor Legandary members like him here.

He was great with new and young members, he hardly ever smarted off unless it was all in good fun...he loved to teach young guns.

I exchanged a lot of PMs and some emails with him, he definitely tried to steer me in the right direction. When I joined the site, i was a young gun and I can tell he was about giving the younger crowd words of wisdom from his experience.

We could use more like him

Bummer....the wife and I took a road trip down Route 66 last May and were gonna stop in for a visit when we were mapping the Route...never got the chance.

He talked a lot about moving out of CA, couldn’t stand it there anymore, was thinking of AZ or even somewhere in the Midwest...I suggested Minnesota and he liked that idea a lot. We even talked about him coming here for a week to see what it was like, houses here are a fraction of what you can buy there and he really liked that idea...that and we have lots of cars here and nice people. I was really hoping for him to visit here too....dang.

Every time I see a cool pic of a street machine like these I still think of Tim...he loved them and especially the 55-57 shoebox cars....here are some of the things he enjoyed!

I've had a vision of doing that plastic bubble on my dual quads...

I sure miss him !
He was a solid dude !
Made me laugh, and he was very supportive!
God bless his soul !

Tim was from a neighboring village and we had numerous common acquaintances in the local hot rod community.

So you knew him personally then? Bless you. I am sure he enriched your life perhaps in ways you may not even realize.
