Question guys:
I have a '69 Dart with all external lights working accept the left rear brake light. I changed the that bulb twice to ease my mind, but still the left rear brake light will not light up when brake pedal is depressed. All turn signal lights work (front and back); all headlights work, just this left rear brake light.
Is this indicative of a faulty turn signal switch or is the another possibility that I can check before ordering a new switch? Please advise.

Probably the switch. Before you replace the switch, remove the bulb and test with a test light. Touch probe to the contact in the socket to see if you are getting any juice. At the same time have someone in the car wiggle the T/S switch. If you get no juice or intermittent juice- now you have a bad switch.

Had the same problem. Was the ts switch. Don’t bother buying the cam kit. Waste of time. Get a new switch.

Should I do this with the brake pedal depressed and car off or key turned on and car running, with pedal down. Sorry, trying to get this right the first time and electrical isn't my strongest suit. Thanks

Brake light switch should have power at all times. Both brake lamps should operate whether key is in ignition or not. Make sure TS switch is centered

Had the same issue before and it turned out to be a broken wire in the TurnSignal Switch. I soldered it temporarily and ordered a new one.
