Polls so far say "we appoint" first, and "self appoint" 2nd. Hmmmmm......

The word Guru has changed. It used to be a person who had knowledge, was willing to teach his knowledge, and had influence based on wisdom. The Millenials refer differently when they speak of a Guru.... One who has self proclaimed knowledge, usually self centered and egotistical.

I think a good start would be being able to spell the damn name of the car one has correctly.:mob:
Don't really know why that bothers me so much, but it does.
I'm not referring to a mis typed key either, but a persistent mis spelling.

Is there such a thing as a misspelling GURU???

I'm sure there could be, but that isn't what I was talking about.
I was talking about mis spelling the model name of a car a person owns.
Holy crap it's right there on the car.:D

I think it's voice command. It hears it the same every time. A lot of folks don't go back and correct.

If I used voice command I would have been banned years ago. Can you hear me yelling . lol

WELL.....I did spend tons of money and time buying many different manifolds and experimenting. Then many, many hours experimenting with different machining techniques. If that's what it takes to win the award I'll take it!!:poke::thumbsup:

You're welcome.....................Those manifold are now "rare" since I stopped making them. I've had tons of requests in the last year but it's just not worth all the time, expense and pain!!

Unless the context is clearly otherwise I take the cynical view.
A guru has cult-like followers and likes to gather more.
Any reality based knowledge or wisdom is not required.
Having an ability to convince others of something is required.

This song comes to mind first
