Identify this plug

In the process of restoring a 68 GTS H code, I can't figure our what this plug goes to, something doesn't look right, it is attached to the wiper motor wiring harness

Wow that was quick, Thanks I got a new harness and it wasn't included
 
Reverse light that goes under the dash. This wire goes the tranny, I think is purple.
 
I have an H code cuda. Yes this two wire looks a little weird but is factory. It is added to the wiper motor connector and there should be a retaining clip on a belhousing bolt to help guide it. If you have a 4sp, there are additional clips on the tranny. While they are supposed to be purple, they seem to age to a brown.

so its for the reverse light switch?
 
Is yours a 4sp? These would have a small light under the dash, with light bulb in the back, that says "REVERSE". Will light up in reverse. If you have an auto this becomes a neutral switch with no "REVERSE" light.FSM shows both in the schematic. Also b/up lites.

its a 4 speed
