So the third engine we picked up was a keeper. 1987 roller 318 that an old lady had in her grocery getter.
After a complete tear down and inspection this thing was amazing. The perfect place to start to show the son how to build some old school power. And save a few bucks.
The lack of wear on this thing was crazy. After a little honing to clean up the walls for the new rings it was still .002 tight.
