Is it the same as a dart? And should I just look to going with a 68 trim instead? Did they change the barracuda like they did the dart as far as clips and seal?

On my '67 Barracuda, there is no trim. It is the gasket + a plastic chrome lock strip that helps hold the glass in the gasket channel.

My understanding is converting from '67 chrome locking strip style to '68 metal trim style would require a new '68 rubber window seal, new stainless trim and the clips to mount it.

You are correct. I changed my 67 notch over using 68 gaskets, adding the trim clips and sourcing the unobtanium 68/69 notch SS trim. It is worth the work but the trim is hard to find.

Barracuda/Dart hardtop windshield trim is the same 67-69 (with 67 being the plastic lockstrip, and 68-69 stainless). So a Dart hardtop is the same as a Barracuda. By "hardtop" I mean "2-door sports hardtop" — the 2dr and 4dr sedans have different windshield trim, as do the later Dusters, Demons and Dart Sports. Convertibles are different, also, but 67 thru 69 is the same.

My car had the 68 trim on it when I bought it. Looks way better that the plastic 67 trim.
