318 lA Rocker arm stamping and orientation questions

I've never handled pushrods or rocker arms before (as if you couldn't tell). I realize this isn't rocket science, but it sure does mess with your head (along with a couple of cold ones). All this back and forth finally makes sense. Last piece of the puzzle and I can keep moving forward....Notched end of the rocker shaft, pointing down when cinched up and towards the left side of the heads, which puts the notch towards the rear of the engine on the passenger side and towards the front on the drivers side...Correct?
