68 Dart convertible windshield trim

You could change to the gasket that does not require the mylar strip then your golden.

and I mentioned the b-body lower windshield trim because that is what I heard would work after it has been trimmed down. The curvature is to be the same between a-body and b-body (or so Im told).
The convertible gasket is shaped different from others from about middle to top of the a-pillar posts. I suppose one might cut and graft 2 gaskets sections together. Use the lower portion and about 3 inches up a-pillar post from the hard top gasket. I've got the piece of a-body reveal molding, the clips, etc... I've laid it on the vert and it looks like it would work fine. The one part I dont have is a good used 68 up hard top gasket. Not sure I'm brave enough to cut my good vert gasket though. Not sure what adhesive I would use to join the rubber either. The type that comes with inner tube patch kit? In the end I would probably discover why the factory never placed a stainless reveal molding there in the first place. Wind noise or other unexpected issue.
