Hurst 4 speed shifter handles 7036 and 5973 fit (bucket or bench)???

I thought 68 Hurst shifters had single line letters?

The Hurst handles that the factory started to use in the 2nd half of 1968 were supposedly the ones with the single line letters. The 1969 and latter factory Hurst handles had the double line letters.
