I'm trying to find the .5 voltage limiter for the cluster on my 75 Duster. All I can find is up to 74. Are they the same? The capacitor that was plugged into the slot with the limiter is that the radio static suppressor? I can't find one that is the same Does anyone sell these? The ones that I have found attach to the coil

The photos look just like the ones in my 67 (even down to the cardboard) so if those are yours I would put money that they are the same 67 thru 76.

Replacements these days are electronic, and you may not need the capacitor

BTW the limiter is a 5-6 volt limiter. The older ones are mechanical and deliver pulsed DC to the gauges

I’ve got one and the capacitor in storage, I will let you know tomorrow morning if it’s the same.

The cap is not critical, any automotive cap out of a distributor or suppression cap that you can mount and connect will do. The so called "parts stores" should list them, if you get a parts guy smart enough to find the numerical/ illustrated listings. I would find a solid state IVR instead of the original type.

Napa has them but they cost something like 60 bucks. I passed when the guy told me the price and made due with a used one .

A direct fit replacement solid state instrument voltage regulator comes from Real Time Engineering.
New replacement from Standard Products could be solid state or could be original type mechanical limiter. Who knows? As stated above, solid state does not require the noise cap'.
