tunnel ram and 750 eddys

Thanks everyone. I thought about the dominator but they are expensive. Just didn't want to go through all the tuning it takes to make holleys work on a tunnel ram like drilling or filling air bleeds, AFRs and IFRs to get the idle and transition right. That in itself is very time consuming. Wish I had the money to just buy two holley style TR carbs. Maybe I'm looking for the easy and cheap way out.

If you start with two carbs that has replaceable brass it's much easier to get them tuned up.

You can also convert all the pressed in brass to threaded stuff with a drill and tap. Then you can change whatever you want.

I hate the 1850 Holley more than ear aches and watered gin, especially on a TR but you already have them. Why not convert them to changeable brass.

Or, spend a little money on them and send them to Dom at Thumpr carbs and let him put a tune up in them for you.

He's a smart, sharp cat and his customer service in number 1.

I'm always for tunnel Rams. They just take a bit more work to get in shape, but the end gains are absolutely worth it.
