Snap-on payment plan

Back in 1989 I bought a new Mac box, the biggest one he had. I had priced a KR1000 top and bottom from SnapOn but he was over 2K more.
As it happened the snapon rep. was on the truck with the driver the week I took delivery of the Mac box.
By the time it was allover they put a new KR1000 top and bottom in my shop and two hundred dollars in my pocket and loaded up the new Mac box. I was the first one in the aira to have that style of box. I payed Mac for my SnapOn box.
I will add that SnapOn replaced the box under warranty because of paint falling off ten years later. Then ten years later they replaced all the casters under warranty along with some of the slides.
They have stood behind it very well.
I've replaced some screwdrivers that had to be over 40 yrs old and the handles were brittle and fell apart when I twisted them. Also replaced a 1/4" drive ratchet that I bought at a yard sale many years ago. The gears where getting stripped. They do stand behind their stuff but so do the other suppliers now. Lifetime on most tools.
