two simple plumbing questions

There is a tool to cut them out. It's a wheel blade and you turn it on the copper and as it cuts you turn a tightening wheel to apply more pressure and cut through the pipe. Pic later
Removing them is never the issue
But even with the tool you mentioned it leaves a "unfinished" pipe, that once again requires soldering
And I dont trust my soldering enoug, and i dont want a leak in a cabinet where i wont notice it untill it's too late
