These guys only offer 2.02 intakes, if you want some 1.88 valves, maybe get a used set out of any 360 head....

Summit, milodon, manley, or just get a set of lower priced 1.94/1.60 11/32 stem valves and cut them to 1.88 /1.55 and port the **** out of them. What's the plan with the heads?

The heads are milled .050 & I was planning to home port them similar to what I have seen here, as well as increase the intake valve size then pick a more suitable cam.
I am running a summit k6900, I have 3.27 rear end gears to go in & a ld4b intake to replace the performer I have now. The 318 is bored .030 & has about 9.3:1 comp, & 165 cranking psi. Its a weekend ride with a std 904 auto.
I read the 318 cam post & must say I got very confused lol
cheers Pete

i had my 302s rebuilt and ported by a reputable mopar shop and asked for the 1.88s ,the builder said it was a waste of money in his opinion, but would do it if i wanted. instead i got the exhaust opened up to 1.60 per his thoughts, with bowl porting being done.eventually i went to a 360 and wished i had gone 1.88s also

You bet you wish, the exhaust port of a 318 head is miles ahead of the intake port.
They actually flow better ported at 1.50 than a 1.60 360 head equally ported
Equally, meaning I can bowl and sort turn a 318 port in about 15 min...it takes 30 or so..to do a 360 exhaust port-more material removal involved. .. and even then the turn isnt as good.
Stock valves and ported is the best bang for the buck. You can get 200/175 cfm int/exh with ease.
Also... few people realize the 1.78 318 I take valve is more of a nail head whereas the 360 1.88 is a big tulip that eats up more bowl volume.... 1.94 cut down or forget it imo....otherwise just use a 1.94 and go bizerk

If you have to do your guides it's just as easy to switch over to lighter and less expensive (for the same quality) chevy valves- maybe Magnum- I think I've done that but do not remember if we stayed with them
sometimes .100 longer if better springs were needed
LS type valves? something else to look into
